I wanted to share this information with other RedGagers in case you run into this same problem. I got my first $25.00 payment from Redgage today. It came in the form of a Visa credit / debit card which you will need to activate before you can use the funds.  

Just like any new credit card that you get in the mail it will have a sticker on the front of the card that gives you a 1 800 number and an option to activate the card online. I first called the number but it asked for an activation code which I had not been given. I tried to go online next, I had to fill out a form with my name, address and social security number. It again asked for that pesky 4 digit activation code, after entering every 4 digit code I could think of, I finally figured out what they wanted. It was the last 4 digits of your phone number, the same phone number you gave to RedGage when you signed up for your account. 

After entering that activation code the card is now ready to use and it does work fine. Here is a tip, when you use the card use it as a credit card instead of a debit card. Debit cards require a password consisting of 4 digits and that option is not available for these gift cards. There is no extra charge to use it as a credit card it will just save you time and trouble while redeeming the card. Enjoy your earnings! I hope this post saves someone some unnecessary frustration.
